Definition
Ad Rank determines whether and at which position your ad appears in Google search results. It is recalculated for each auction and considers: CPC bid, Quality Score, search query context, expected impact of ad extensions, and the Ad Rank Threshold (minimum requirement).

Improve Quality Score as leverage for better positions at the same cost. Use all relevant ad extensions. Increase bids strategically for the most important keywords. Monitor Impression Share (Lost to Rank).
