Definition

CPV (Cost per View) refers to the cost incurred per video view. For YouTube TrueView ads, a view is counted when a user watches at least 30 seconds of the video (or the entire video for shorter clips) or interacts with the ad. CPV is the standard metric for cost efficiency of video campaigns.

Formula

CPV = Total Cost / Number of Views
