K – Viral Coefficient
Definition
The Viral Coefficient (K-factor) indicates how many new users an existing user brings in on average. A K-factor above 1.0 means exponential (viral) growth – each user brings in more than one new user. In performance marketing, the viral coefficient is used to evaluate the organic multiplier effect of paid reach.
