Definition

Quality Score is Google's rating of the quality of your ads, keywords, and landing pages on a scale of 1 to 10. It is based on three factors: expected CTR, ad relevance, and landing page experience. A high Quality Score leads to lower CPCs and better ad positions.

Interpretation

Quality Score 7-10: Very good, your costs will be below average. 5-6: Average, optimization potential exists. 1-4: Poor, high CPCs and bad positions. Focus on the component with the worst rating.

Optimization Tips

Structure your ad groups tightly by theme. Ensure keywords appear in ad copy. Optimize landing pages for relevance, load time, and mobile experience. Improve CTR through compelling ad copy.
